Instantis Extends Usability and Reporting Lead with EnterpriseTrack 7.5 for Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management
Latest release further raises bar for business software ease of use, dashboards and reporting, while deepening resource management and capacity planning support in IT and PMO environments.
May 23, 2011 -- Santa Clara, CA — Instantis, the leading on-demand (SaaS) provider of Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) software used by business process and IT leaders to improve strategy execution and financial performance, introduced today EnterpriseTrack 7.5 Standard Edition and PMO Edition. The new release incorporated extensive Voice-of-the-customer (VoC) feedback and focused on three development themes:
- Accelerate resource and portfolio manager productivity with leading-edge resource search, scheduling and capacity planning capabilities
- Further enhance the end-user experience with additional "dynamic UI" and navigation enhancements
- Continue industry-leading dashboard and reporting innovation
The key resource and capacity management enhancements are in the areas of "what if" scenario planning. Specifically, executives and portfolio managers can "play out" resource deployment scenarios to understand the impact on resource and role availability. The ability to easily create, manage, and compare a variety of resource deployment simulations, is critical to optimizing resource utilization and ensuring sufficient capacity to meet strategic goals.
Significant new usability capabilities include further UI personalization, ease of navigation, search, and in-line page filtering flexibility to maximize user acceptance and productivity. In-line editing and interactivity across numerous system elements including dashboards, graphical UI components further increase user productivity by minimizing the number clicks required to perform common system tasks and actions.
Dashboard enhancements include new user-selectable X and Y parameters for dashboard bubble charts resulting in over one hundred new dashboard display options. Reporting enhancements include comprehensive financial reporting to provide a universal filter set that accommodates different financial models prevalent across different initiatives like IT or Process Excellence. The reports can also be rendered as user-defined Excel outputs that provide the user full control on the presentation format. These enhancements make analytical information easier to consume and understand and ease decision support.
