Instantis Becomes Macromedia Premiere Partner
Sunnyvale, CA — November 28, 2001 —
Instantis, a pioneer in the automation of enterprise Web services and applications, today announced that it has joined the Macromedia Worldwide Partner Program as a premier partner. Instantis will work closely with Macromedia to leverage its award-winning Web design and development applications, and enable designers and developers using Macromedia Dreamweaver to create — and quickly deploy — advanced enterprise-class Web applications and Web services that automate business processes in sales, marketing, internal operations, human resources and more. With the SiteWand Extension for Dreamweaver, deployment can be up to 10X faster than the alternatives: enterprise software packages or traditional Web programming methods. The SiteWand Extension can be downloaded from Macromedia Exchange at http://www.macromedia.com/exchange/.
"Enterprise executives are very keen on automating their business processes quickly and cost-effectively, and are seeking out the most reliable vendor partnerships for technology outsourcing," stated Shekar Ayyar, VP of Business Development at Instantis. "We are very pleased to partner with Macromedia and provide the wide community of Dreamweaver developers a way to launch Web applications and Web services quickly, and manage them efficiently."
The multi-tiered Macromedia Worldwide Partner Program addresses the needs of Macromedia partners by providing the necessary resources to work with Macromedia to build and market their solutions. The various levels, from Affiliate through Premier, address the degree of the relationship and commitment between the partner and Macromedia.
"Developers want a robust, flexible solution for building mission-critical Web applications and services, but time to market is also a critical consideration," said Susan Marshall, director of product marketing, Macromedia. "Instantis SiteWand empowers Dreamweaver developers to increase their productivity without sacrificing the quality and customization of their applications."
