Six Sigma Maturity Model

About the Six Sigma Maturity Model

Every journey can use a guide. The INSTANTIS Six Sigma Maturity Model (iSSMM™) defines the five commonly experienced levels of Six Sigma maturity.

Roxanne O’Brasky, President and Founder of ISSSP called the new model “the first rigorous attempt to describe the Six Sigma journey from launch and early success to culture transformation.”

The iSSMM was first hypothesized in October 2006 by Dr. Prasad Raje, INSTANTIS founder and CEO. Over 1,000 copies of Dr. Raje’s white paper have since been downloaded from www.instantis.com and hundreds of belts and deployment leaders have attended iSSMM workshops conducted around the world.

Real World Validation

In March 2007 INSTANTIS published the results of an online study to provide Six Sigma practitioners with real-world data regarding deployment critical success and failure factors across industries. A further goal was to validate and refine the model which has subsequently been updated to reflect the feedback from over 100 respondent organizations worldwide.

Partner & Technology Support

Today, several INSTANTIS training and consulting partners are offering Assessment Services based on the iSSMM. And, INSTANTIS provides a Six Sigma Maturity Scorecard template for EnterpriseTrack™ that allows you to use the system to measure and manage the success of your deployment based on iSSMM parameters.
