INSTANTIS Unveils EnterpriseTrack 6.5 and MSP Connector

October 5, 2009 -- Santa Clara, CA — Instantis, a leading provider of project portfolio management software used by business process and IT leaders to improve strategy execution and financial performance, announced today the immediate availability of EnterpriseTrack 6.5. EnterpriseTrack 6.5 delivers significant new functionality for users of Standard, PMO and Green Edition and includes a new module called MSP Connector. MSP Connector represents a complete re-design of existing Microsoft Project® integration capabilities and is available to users of PMO Edition. Instantis now delivers a market-leading solution and a superior end-user experience in an area which is critical to maximizing IT project team productivity.

MSP Connector allows project team members to work offline and/or perform day-to-day individual project scheduling and tracking tasks using the familiar Microsoft Project desktop tool. Project managers can then periodically synchronize Microsoft Project information with the EnterpriseTrack server. EnterpriseTrack serves as the system of record for project creation, task and assignment tracking, resource utilization, phase review approvals, project metrics and cost tracking.

Version 6.5 also enhances effort and cost tracking capabilities and delivers further performance, usability and reporting improvements across the product line.
