Customers and Marketplace
Instantis customers have made EnterpriseTrack the leading provider of software for managing top-down initiatives and strategy project portfolios like Six Sigma, Lean and IT/PMO with more customers deployed on its flagship EnterpriseTrack™ product than any competitive product. In 2008, Instantis introduced EnterpriseTrack 6 PMO Edition which positions Instantis to more aggressively directly pursue IT and PMO opportunities. As a result, Instantis has strengthened a key differentiator of the EnterpriseTrack system: the ability manage multiple project portfolio types in a single system such as Lean, Six Sigma, IT, PMO, innovation, and others.
In terms of industry footprint, Instantis has a strong presence in the discrete and process manufacturing industries with iconic Six Sigma practitioners like Motorola, DuPont, and Xerox deployed on EnterpriseTrack. Instantis has a particularly strong presence in the healthcare space with pharmaceutical giants such as Baxter, Lilly and McKesson and several hospital systems and healthcare equipment providers as clients. Instantis is also growing quickly in the financial and other services sectors. Customers include financial services powerhouse Credit Suisse and telecom services providers such as France Telecom. More recently, Instantis has experienced success in the high-tech sector adding companies like Lenovo and Research in Motion to its client roster.
The project portfolio types that EnterpriseTrack can manage in a single system – such as operational excellence, IT/PMO, new product development, and CapEx projects -- are not unique to any particular industry. As a result, moving forward Instantis will continue to focus on multi-initiative project portfolio management opportunities within any large global organizations with total annual revenues typically exceeding $750 million.
For companies on an operational or performance excellence journey (e.g. pursuing CXO-mandated Six Sigma, Lean initiatives), Instantis EnterpriseTrack is designed to support organizations just starting and those that are on the leading edge. The Instantis Six Sigma Maturity Model (iSSMM™) defines the commonly experienced stages of Six Sigma maturity including: Launch, Early Success, Scale Replication, Institutionalization, and Cultural Transformation. Instantis customers span all stages defined by this model since it can be configured to reveal increasing levels of functional sophistication based on customer needs and readiness.
